Exposed or concealed?

An exposed shower system keeps the pipework and controls visible and is often simpler to service. A concealed system hides the valve and supply lines in the wall for a cleaner profile but requires careful rough-in planning. Build the spray combination

Decide whether your routine needs a rain shower head, a handheld sprayer, or both. A rain head creates broad overhead coverage; a handheld adds flexibility for rinsing and cleaning. Check that the diverter and control layout supports the components you plan to use.

Choose a rain shower head and arm

Browse rain shower heads and compare round or flat profiles, head diameter and arm reach. Short, straight and arched arms place the head at different distances from the wall. Confirm ceiling height, user height and the desired spray position before choosing.

Plan the plumbing

Confirm hot and cold supply locations and the valve rough-in depth.
Check whether the system needs a diverter, hand-shower outlet or tub-filler connection.
Allow enough clearance for controls, doors and shelving.
